Celestial Seasonings founder Mo Siegel and some friends began gathering herbs and flowers around the mountains around Boulder & selling the children to local health-food places in 1969. In the 1970s the company grew rapidly, creating popular herbal tea blends (like Sleepytime & Red Zinger) & moving to big headquarters twice; it were selling internationally by 1977. Celestial Seasonings created & sponsored a Red Zinger Classic bicycle race in Colorado during a Seventies. Celestial Seasonings was purchased by Kraft Foods in 1984 which expanded the marketing of the br& two nationally and internationally. Mo Siegel retired around 1986, and a next season, Kraft paper announced it would sell Celestial Seasonings to Lipton. A low was with success challenged by Bigelow under anti-trust laws, and local management purchased a company back from either Kraft paper within 1988. Inside 1990 Celestial Seasonings moved into newly headquarters around the custom-designed facility around Northerly Boulder. Mo Siegel returned within 1991 to serve as CEO. A company continued to develop & introduce recently products through the 1990s. Celestial Seasonings merged by having natural food company A Hawithin Food Class action in 2000 to become A Hain Celestial Class action, iraqi national congress . Mo Siegel retired for the 2nd instance inside 2002.
